What is the purpose of the Family Forum ….
The Family Forum is a space for families to meet and talk about general issues concerning the children’s disability services we offer. You will also hear from the Children’s Disability Network Manager about what is happening locally and nationally.
This is your chance to tell us your ideas on how we could improve services.
The Family Forum is not ….
The right place to talk about individual child issues. Parents should discuss these outside of the Forum, with a member of the team or the Children’s Disability Network Manager.
How do you get involved in the Family Forum.
You will receive an invitation to every Family Forum. You can attend as many as you like to share your thoughts and ideas.
If you would like to become more involved, you can nominate yourself to stand for election as a family representative. The Family Forum will elect two Family Representatives (self-nomination form) who will meet the Children’s Disability Network Manager regularly and will also join the Family Representative Group in CHO 3 (Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary).
First South City CDNT Family Forum
We are inviting parents/guardians of children on the South City Children’s Disability Network Team to a meeting of the South City CDNT Family Forum
on Thursday morning 23rd March 2023 at 10am in Southill Hub (Southill Area Centre), Donough O’Malley Park, Limerick
You must register your attendance by phone or email and please let us know if you have any specific requirements to help us plan.
