St. Gabriel’s were delighted to welcome Minister Josepha Madigan, Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion to the school recently.

Accompanied by Limerick Senator Maria Byrne, Minister Madigan spoke to school principal Derek Cox and St. Gabriel’s Foundation CEO, Treasa McAuliffe about the wonderful work that takes place on Springfield Drive.

Minister Madigan was delighted to visit the school and highlighted how well St. Gabriel’s had made “an incredible contribution to inclusive education in Limerick” and is “a perfect example of a welcoming and supportive school environment.

St. Gabriel’s School currently has 64 students from 4-18 years of age. All their care needs are met on site during the day by therapists, nurses and clinicians.
