St. Gabriel’s Foundation were extremely grateful to receive support from Limerick-based, family-run business, OBW Technologies, the leading national provider of portable and fixed gas detection solutions in Ireland.

JJ and Sharon O’Brien, owners, OBW Technologies said: “We are absolutely delighted to support such a worthy organisation. The life-changing work that St. Gabriel’s do was highlighted to us again at the Limerick Chamber Awards last year. For a local organisation, they are providing services here in Limerick that were once only available in Dublin. It’s giving great support to local families. We can see that and that’s why we are happy to help.”

Treasa McAuliffe. CEO, St. Gabriel’s said: “St. Gabriel’s is extremely grateful to JJ and Sharon and all at OBW Technologies for choosing to support St. Gabriel’s. We want to do everything we can to meet the needs of the children coming into our care. Donations like this from OBW are really helpful because they allow us to plan. The more we have the more we can do. Our ethos is always to listen to families and get them the support they need. This donation will help us do just that.”

St. Gabriel’s meets the needs of children and their families through the provision of clinical therapies, education, respite, orthotics and hydrotherapy.  St. Gabriel’s operates two Clinical Disability Network Teams in Dooradoyle and South City, providing these services to over 1,400 families in Limerick city and county.
